Rules & appeals

By joining you agree to the rules below. Changes are announced in the news.

1. Basics

Respect every player and keep it friendly. Staff act according to severity, and repeat offenses get stricter penalties.

2. Chat & social

  • No insults, personal attacks, or regional or gender discrimination.
  • No spamming, advertising or posting other servers' addresses.
  • No sexual, violent or politically sensitive content.
  • These rules apply to private messages too; reported chats are reviewed.

3. Fair play

  • No hacks, cheat clients, macros or X-ray resource packs.
  • Found an exploit (item duplication, wall clipping, etc.)? Report it through "Support" in the launcher. Profiting from exploits is punished; reporting them is rewarded.
  • Only mods approved in the launcher are allowed. To use a new mod, request it on the launcher's "Mods" page.

4. Builds & property

  • No griefing or stealing other players' builds and items.
  • No builds near the main city or spawn that get in others' way.
  • No lag machines (huge redstone contraptions, mob farms piling up entities).

5. Trading & economy

  • No real-money trading of items, accounts, Wind coins or Cloud coins.
  • Trade through the in-game auction house or face to face. If you're scammed, keep screenshots and report it.

6. Account security

  • Don't lend your account; you're responsible for anything done with it.
  • Staff will never ask for your password or verification codes.

7. Penalties

PenaltyWhenDetails
WarningFirst minor offenseRecorded; you get a launcher notification
KickStopping it on the spotDisconnected; you can rejoin right away
MuteChat offensesTimed mute covering both in-game and launcher chat

8. Appeals

If you think a penalty is wrong, appeal it in the launcher. Each penalty can be appealed once:

  1. Open the StarCloud launcher and go to Support at the top right.
  2. Choose Penalties & appeals, find the penalty and click "Appeal".
  3. Explain what happened, with screenshots if you have them. Staff respond within 3 working days and notify you in the launcher.

If you're banned, signing in to the launcher opens the penalty page directly, and you can appeal there.
